Color blazes in from the East

Waking me from a black and white

Night of the forgotten

One who touches me

Where fire is not allowed

And the cold blue dawn

Ignites in rainbow visions

That have no home

In this reality

Of forgotten dreaming

Air streaks cross the sky

Arcing from North to South

As fallout dusts

The sunset West

Wow, thanks for dropping me a note with the unaltered photo! You really do amazing things with these images. These colors and exposures do remind me of my Trajectory story.

The poem feels like an a quiet armageddon of emotion.

Can I dare to say something? Do I dare? Do I dare to say that we don't forget to dream… ever? But that we abandon dreaming? Yet our dreams never abandon us, even when we let them go…

Cat, this was twisted and slashed and very very profoundly blue. But the beautiful image above of the air streaked sky says that the air will color the sky with flames of light and light and light. I'm so taken by the beauty of this poem and this image…

The dreams are found in the deep hues of the day as they wind makes tha fall out glisten with the color of it.

That image gave me gooseflesh. It made me think of glass reflections of some shattered inner vision. In this case, it's a taunting kind of bewitchment. Like the pieces are straining to be put together again, after the hammer has struck its death blow.

New colors will glow on that dawning horizon. Or maybe there's still some comfort to be found in the heat from these. The sweet often follows the bitter. I don't know. Maybe there's just no way around the pain sometimes. But to honor it like you have here. And use it to spark more beauty from the pathos.

    Big hugs, my friend.

You left me stunned. The picture is just way too good, amazing, beautiful… words fail me at the moment.

And the poem … each time I drop by here and say myself “It can’t be done better than this”

And you know what? Each time you prove me wrong!!!

Gosh, I hate to follow Sarah in comments! LOL

The image and words are perfect complements. That's the sky we call skyblue pink, a most beautiful, magical sky and time of day.

I had a feeling you would think so! It just had that feeling, you know? Oh, two words: selective color. Have fun grasshopper.

Sarah, you light up my days, I swear I don't know what I'd do without you. Re: the image. Often when I'm playing in Photoshop, I'll start shifting color values and reversing things and sometimes something amazing like this just pops out. Or, in this case, just kind of explodes into perfection. I only can claim partial control, since I'm the one moving the buttons. :-)

Lena, your words are like big warm hugs! I am receiving them with open arms. :-)
